Medical Guardian is seeking a Director of Operations to join our growing operations team. The right candidate for this role will have a passion for operational efficiency, business process improvements, and supply chain. Applicants should have previous operations experience including significant understanding of supply chain operations and logistics. This role is fast paced and is suited for an independent self-starter who is accustomed to identifying deficiencies in workflows and developing thoughtful and organized strategies to improve. An understanding of business and management principles, leadership strategies and strategic planning is crucial to success in this role. Medical Guardian develops and manages Medical Alert Devices, so ensuring product inventory is maintained and operations are running efficiently is critical to the business.
General Responsibilities:
- Oversee product fulfillment and fulfillment operations for multiple warehouse locations
- Manage 3PL and refurbishment process and day to day functions
- Successfully deploy and manage standard processes across operations to streamline workflows
- Maintain inventory management systems, oversee purchase orders and ensure logistics are secure
- Report and distribute operational reporting to management teams
- Manage Healthcare operations for a growing government services and partner focused team
- Gather and present relevant data to business with recommended changes or developments
- Ensure production, performance and quality standards are met by all operational areas
- Manage external vendors and establish relationship with key suppliers
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain key performance measurements (KPI) systems for the department
The candidate must be extremely organized, self-sufficient and have the ability to work independently in a fast paced environment with changing requirements. Attention to detail and ability to execute within timeline and budget are skills that lend to success in this role. Interdepartmental relationship building and communication skills are essential for this position.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-7 years working in a similar role
- Experience with supply chain logistics and operations
- Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Experience in Healthcare or with Medicaid/Medicare organizations a plus
- Medical device industry experience a plus
Work Hours and Travel Requirements:
Medical Guardian’s Operations Team works in a hybrid environment that requires a minimum of 1 day per week in the Philadelphia office. Travel between fulfillment centers throughout Pennsylvania will be required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
