Position Details
- Job Type: 13-week temporary contract with opportunity for permanent hire
- Conversion Opportunity: Eligible for full-time employment with comprehensive benefits after successful completion of the contract
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
- Location: Elmhurst, Queens
Current Openings
- All shifts available
- Highest priority: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM shift
- Weekend-only positions available (Part-Time)
- Ideal availability is approximately 35 hours per week for consistent scheduling
Weekday CNA Requirement:
CNAs working weekday schedules must be available to work every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Ensure residents receive compassionate, respectful, and dignified care
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in the state of employment
- New CNA graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
