Venous Sonographer

Medical Essential Diagnostics (MED) is a leader in diagnostic testing for New Jersey’s essential workforce, specializing in cardiopulmonary and vascular health. We are launching a Venous Insufficiency Program under the direction of our Venous Specialist, and we are seeking a Traveling Venous Sonographer to join our team.

Position Overview

The Traveling Venous Tech will accompany our Venous Doctor to four MED clinic locations (Morristown, Wall, Princeton, and Marlton) to perform venous insufficiency scans on scheduled patients. This is a mobile, hands-on role for someone who is comfortable traveling and providing high-quality vascular imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venous insufficiency scans with accuracy and precision.
• Travel alongside our Venous Doctor to designated MED clinic locations each week.
• Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures clearly.
• Upload and maintain accurate documentation of all studies in the EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians, clinic staff, and vascular specialists to ensure excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or equivalent certification required.
• Proven experience performing venous insufficiency studies.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Willingness to travel weekly between Morristown, Wall, Princeton, and Marlton (full reimbursement provided).
• Flexible, dependable, and detail-oriented.
