Job Summary And Qualifications
Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, administers Physical Therapy services for patients. Provides therapy to individuals with impairments in ambulation, stair climbing, transfers, bed mobility and balance, joint range of motion, strength, coordination, and endurance level. Understand motor development stages and is able to adhere to plan of care established by supervising therapists. Possess the ability to assist therapist, patient and family regarding plan of care. Able to educate patient and family about disease process precautions, limitations, or sensations related to the patient’s condition either verbally, written or both. Demonstrates the ability to efficiently treat patients and document appropriately and effectively. Ensures provision of quality patient care for patient population served in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.

- Current Texas Physical Therapy Assistant License required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Associate degree Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program required
- 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
