Job Summary And Qualifications
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures financial statements are accurately stated in accordance with HCA accounting policies and GAAP.
- Supervises Accounting Department.
- Works with the Controller and Supply Chain Director to coordinate the annual physical inventory.
- Coordinates, reviews and assists in completing Medicare Year End.
- Coordinates, reviews and assists in completing Internal Audit work papers.
- Provides financial analysis of hospital income and expenditures.
- Maintains department reports and records to meet administrative and regulatory requirements.
- Assists the Controller and CFO with annual budget preparation.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years accounting and supervisory experience.
