Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Controller located in Prosper, TX. The Assistant Controller will oversee daily accounting functions, manage financial reporting and analysis, and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include maintaining general ledger integrity, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, coordinating audits, and identifying process improvement opportunities for financial operations. Collaboration with other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency is also key to the role.
Qualifications
- Robust accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with regulations, compliance standards, and audit coordination
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus)
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a fast-growing organization
