Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year of maintenance experience
Must have reliable transportation
Technology Skills: Basic computer skills; MS word, Excel, etc.
Preferred Skills
· Ability to make decisions regarding planning, organizing, and supervision of the work at all campus sites.
· History of positive working relationships
· Evidence of clear and concise communication skills
Specific Role and Responsibilities
· Determine priorities of work in order to schedule
· Mechanical Abilities
· Ensure that equipment is maintained properly.
· Provide budget recommendations for new equipment or replacement equipment purchases.
· Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC experience
· Painting
· Outdoor Building Maintenance
· Cutting trees and shrubs/weed maintenance
· Complete other assignments as directed by supervision.
Additional Notes
· This position requires long periods of standing, bending and twisting, pushing and pulling, as well as stooping and squatting.
· This position may have to work after hours and weekends.
Maintenance experience a plus
- Prior maintenance and/or construction experience
- Should have Basic mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift heavy equipment such as snow blowers, lawn mowers, and carpet cleaning machinery needed
- Ability to walk/stand for full shift, climb ladders, and perform other physically demanding tasks is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
