Title: Maintenance Worker TechDepartment: Facility ServicesCategory: Non-Exempt HourlySummary/ObjectiveMaintenance Worker reports to Maintenance Supervisor and assists in the physical upkeep of the College. Essential Functions This Tech position will have a focus on vehicle maintenance and repair.Proper use of equipment and facilities when necessary.Understand and adhere to governmental regulatory programs and policies. These may include but are not limited to: National Electrical Code, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Uniform Building Code (UBC) and local government environmental agency policies.Understand and interpret technical documents and diagrams which include but are not limited to: equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, Single Line Electrical Drawings, mechanical and electrical equipment schematics.Inspect equipment before use and report unsafe conditions. This position is responsible for the care, maintenance, and repairs of all properties.Event set up and take down.Moving furniture and other items.Utilizes proper PPE for given duties. Performs other duties as assigned.Assist other Facilities Service teams as needed.
