IT Programmer Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with writing, testing, and debugging code using Python
- Support AI and automation projects, including data processing and model integration
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to develop and enhance internal applications
- Work within Microsoft Foundry and related Microsoft development tools
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and basic system troubleshooting
- Learn and apply software development best practices
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field
- Preference will be given to candidates with local ties to the area or plans to remain in the region following the internship
- Coursework or hands-on experience with Python programming and familiarity with Microsoft development environments or tools (including Microsoft Foundry)
- Exposure to AI, machine learning, or automation
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Flexible hours with the capacity to work 20-40 hours per week
- Practical experience with varied business activities
