As a SoC Performance Architect, you will be a key member of the SoC Performance Architecture team, collaborating with architecture, modeling, silicon, software, and other design teams to deliver competitive, scalable SoC solutions for large‑scale applications. As a SoC Performance Architect, you will be a key member of the SoC Performance Architecture team, collaborating with architecture, modeling, silicon, software, and other design teams to deliver competitive, scalable SoC solutions for large‑scale applications. We are seeking highly motivated, hands‑on individuals who are passionate about analyzing and improving system‑level performance and who can translate performance insights into concrete architectural and micro‑architectural optimizations. Major Responsibilities
- Drive architectural exploration to optimize performance, power, area, and QoS for competitive and scalable SoCs, ensuring they meet performance and system requirements.
- Perform end‑to‑end performance analysis across CPU, NoC/interconnect, cache hierarchy, and memory subsystems; identify bottlenecks and propose architectural and micro architectural solutions.
- Define and develop representative use cases and workloads that accurately capture real‑world SoC performance requirements.
- Correlate pre‑silicon performance models with post‑silicon measurements, and continuously enhance models, tools, and methodologies for improved accuracy and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge in computer architecture and microarchitecture (including CPU, NoC/interconnect, cache hierarchy, and memory subsystems).
- Hands‑on experience in performance modeling and performance analysis of complex SoCs or subsystems.
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of relevant experience in CPU/GPU/SoC/Memory/Interconnect (preferred).
- Familiarity with ARM processor architecture and microarchitecture is a plus.
- Familiarity with interconnect fabrics and on‑chip protocols such as AMBA AXI and CHI is a plus.
- Familiarity with cache coherency concepts is a plus.
- Experience with system‑level caches, memory controllers, and DDR/LPDDR technologies is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with C or SystemC‑based performance modeling is a plus.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, and debugging skills.
- Salary range: $179,000 - $286,000 annually.
- Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
