About the Role
A leading national nonprofit dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in a world of media and technology is hiring a Marketing Programs Manager to serve as the central orchestrator of creative and marketing workflows across its entire marketing organization. The organization reaches more than 150 million users globally with independent ratings, research, and resources, and works with over 100,000 schools on digital citizenship.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Brand Marketing and functions as the connective tissue between brand, growth, membership, educator marketing, events, and internal and external stakeholders. The Marketing Programs Manager owns the intake process for all creative and marketing requests, drives hands-on production of assets from briefing through delivery, manages timelines and capacity across functions, and serves as the primary liaison for partner and grant-related creative deliverables. The role also provides operational support to the CMO, including team meeting logistics, priority tracking, and internal communications.

What the Role Covers
- Owning the intake process for all creative and marketing requests across the full marketing team, scoping projects, resolving questions, and enforcing intake protocols to prevent unplanned work from entering the pipeline
- Driving hands-on production of creative and marketing assets across campaigns and initiatives, from briefing through final delivery
- Developing and maintaining project timelines across all marketing functions, reconciling workstreams to identify conflicts and dependencies early
- Balancing workloads across team members and functions, flagging capacity constraints, and securing additional resources as needed
- Controlling project budgets and timelines, combating scope creep through disciplined change management and documentation
- Implementing and optimizing project management systems and workflows, and overseeing digital asset management on the brand hub
- Serving as the primary liaison for partner marketing and grant-related creative production, tracking deliverable requirements and ensuring commitments are met on time and at quality
- Acting as the primary point of contact between the marketing team and internal partner departments (education, advocacy, development, PR)
- Coordinating social media content intake and production workflows with the social media manager
- Managing relationships with external vendors, freelancers, and creative partners across all marketing functions
- Supporting the CMO with team management and operations, including offsites, team meetings, priority tracking, and internal communications
- Identifying bottlenecks and recommending process optimizations across marketing functions
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or creative production, with experience across multiple marketing functions
- 2-3 years of experience coordinating cross-functional workflows and managing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
- Hands-on production experience with creative and marketing teams (brand, growth, events, video, social) with a strong understanding of how marketing work gets made end to end
- Experience supporting senior leaders, including executive-level coordination and meeting facilitation
- Experience managing deliverables for external partners, sponsors, or grant funders
- Exceptional organizational skills with close attention to detail
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels
- Demonstrated ability to set boundaries, manage scope, and push back constructively
- Proficiency with project management tools (especially Asana) and creative collaboration platforms (Figma, Google Workspace)
- Budget management experience and vendor relationship management
- Ability to stay calm under pressure during high-stakes launches and tight deadlines
Nice to Have
- Experience implementing or optimizing creative intake and workflow systems
- Background in a creative or marketing discipline (design, video production, growth marketing)
- Experience in mission-driven nonprofit environments where processes need to scale rapidly
- Understanding of digital asset management best practices
- Familiarity with grant reporting or compliance requirements for creative deliverables
