Media Shack is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Screen Print Press Operator to join our production team. This position is responsible for operating our automatic screen-printing equipment and producing high-quality apparel while keeping production moving efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automatic screen-printing presses
- Load and unload garments accurately and efficiently
- Review job specifications, artwork, colors, and quantities before production
- Mix and manage inks as needed
- Register screens and make adjustments to ensure accurate prints
- Monitor print quality throughout each run
- Troubleshoot basic press and printing issues
- Maintain consistent production speed and quality
- Keep the press area clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Work closely with the screen print and production teams to meet deadlines
- Follow all safety and quality-control procedures
Qualifications
- Previous screen-printing experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Experience operating an automatic screen-printing press is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift and move boxes of garments and other production materials
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to be part of a team
- Willingness to learn and take direction
