Position Summary
We seek to hire a positive, energetic, and self-motivated Production Support Specialist who is committed to delivering high-quality print and sign products with a fast 24-hour turnaround. Primary responsibilities of this role include packaging, and shipping of all completed orders, along with providing back up support for print production, bindery and finishing departments.
The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, is highly organized, has a strong work ethic, and is flexible to work across multiple departments to ensure orders are completed on time and meet companies’ high-quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control checks on orders to verify accuracy and confirm that all production details have been completed correctly.
- Package completed orders to company standards.
- Preform local deliveries as needed.
- Package and processes orders for shipping. Utilize shipping software to ensure orders are shipped accurately and arrive on time and in good condition.
- Learn and stay up to date on all shipping procedures, carrier requirements, and shipping software systems.
- Promptly notify customers when orders are complete and ready for pick up.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify department leads when stock is low to prevent production delays.
- Order packaging materials and other production supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Organize and properly store production materials, including paper stock, roll-fed and rigid media, toners, ink sets, and other printing supplies.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Support department leads and follow established department procedures to maintain production efficiency and support a 24-hour turnaround time for standard products.
- Cross train and learn to operate all bindery and finishing equipment including, cutters, laminators, book binders, and grommet machine.
- Assist with the installation of vinyl graphics on signs, vehicles, and windows both in shop or on location.
- Perform routine maintenance of equipment and maintain cleanliness of workstation and the overall production area.
- Take initiative to go above & beyond the job description for the betterment of the company.
Technical Qualifications
- Prior experience in the printing industry is preferred.
- Shop or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to safely and effectively use basic hand and power tools for occasional custom fabrications.
- Experience with maintaining shop equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose basic mechanical issues.
- Driver’s license required.

Hours
- Monday - Friday: 8:30 to 5:30 pm
- Candidates may occasionally work nights or weekends, some over time as workload permits.
