Key Responsibilities
Physician Outreach & Relationship Management
- Identify and target key specialties including Primary Care, OB-GYN, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and Bariatrics.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, PAs, practice managers, and clinical teams.
- Educate providers on Medi-Weightloss’ clinical model, program structure, safety standards, and patient outcomes.
- Conduct regular in-person office visits within the St. Louis area.
- Coordinate and deliver lunch-and-learn sessions and brief educational presentations.
- Ensure practices have updated referral materials and understand the referral process.
- Maintain consistent communication with referring offices to support ongoing engagement.
- Reinforce relationships with providers by sharing program updates and patient success outcomes (in accordance with privacy standards).
- Re-engage practices that show declining referral activity.
- Document outreach activities and referral data using a simple CRM or tracking system.
- Provide weekly updates to clinic leadership on:
- Offices visited
- Referral patterns
- New referring providers onboarded
- Collaborate on adjusting outreach strategies based on performance data.
A successful candidate will:
- Manage a panel of 20–30 active practices.
- Develop a core group of 10 consistently referring providers.
- Help drive 40 new patient referrals per month from established relationships.
- Create stable, predictable referral patterns that support sustained clinic growth.
Required
- 3 years of pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, or physician liaison experience.
- Demonstrated success calling on one or more of the following specialties: Primary Care, OB-GYN, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Bariatrics.
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with clinical teams.
- Ability to discuss medical and clinical concepts with professionalism and clarity.
- Self-directed, organized, and able to manage a field-based schedule.
- Comfortable in a performance-centered role with measurable expectations.
- Existing network of provider relationships in the Greater St. Louis area.
- Experience in weight management, metabolic health, or wellness-related services.
- Part-time: approximately 15–20 hours per week.
- Field-based: includes in-office visits, practice meetings, and lunch-and-learns.
- Flexible schedule during standard clinic and practice operating hours.
- Occasional early morning, evening, or community events as needed.
