Essential Job Functions
- Review patient files in accordance with Tennessee state guidelines.
- Oversee mid-level providers and clinical staff.
- Participate in quality improvement, management, continuing education, and other patient care programs.
- Assist with protocol development and delivery of staff training.
- Provide clinical guidance and direction to staff and leadership.
- Coordinate patient care and facilitate referrals as needed.
- Advise on implementation of patient care and clinic policies.
- Provide insight on market conditions and potential practice opportunities in the Franklin area.
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and evaluation of clinic personnel.
- Support patient communications and resolution of concerns.
- Document patient progress in EMR.
- Conduct patient consultations and follow-ups.
- Participate in refresher trainings (regional, onsite, boot camps, or e-learning).
- Perform other clinical tasks necessary for day-to-day operations.
- Active Tennessee Medical License and DEA Certification (required).
- Specialty in General Practice, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OBGYN (preferred).
- Active medical practice or residence in Franklin or the Greater Nashville Area.
- Malpractice premium covered by employer.
