- Verifies insurance information and facilitates insurance-related processes.

- Processes accounts receivable transactions accurately and securely.
- Monitors inventory levels of clinical and office supplies.
- Trains additional staff on daily procedures when requested by the office manager and/or physician.
- Participates in clinic marketing efforts to enhance profitability and success.
- Assists with opening and closing procedures.
- Assists with and oversees daily operations during periods when the Operations Manager is offsite or unavailable.
- Participates in ongoing training and education to maintain competency and support the implementation of evolving clinical and operational protocols.
- Adapts to changes in clinic workflows, policies, and procedures to promote operational efficiency and consistency.
- Contributes to safe, effective, and patient-centered care while performing all responsibilities within the scope of the role and applicable credentials.
- Obtains patient vitals, EKG, and performs phlebotomy.
- Administers IM injections.
- Prepares laboratory order forms and obtains patient laboratory results.
- Assists physicians or mid-level practitioners with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals.
- Documents patient progress notes in the patient chart and/or EMR.
- Conducts follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Performs other clinical duties as required.
- Motivational counseling/advising skills.
- Strong multitasking and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work within a team and corporate structure.
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Associate or bachelor's degree (a plus).
- Medical receptionist experience preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems preferred.
