Position SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Biller to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate billing operations, timely claims submission, and effective revenue cycle management. Key Responsibilities- Perform charge entry, verify patient registration, and process medical claims accurately and efficiently
- Manage patient aging reports and assist with patient balance collections
- Follow up on outstanding medical claims to ensure timely reimbursement
- Respond to patient billing inquiries with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy
- Utilize Practice Management Systems and billing platforms to support workflow efficiency
- Work with clearinghouses and payer portals to resolve claim issues and denials
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with billing guidelines and insurance requirements
- 3 years of experience in medical billing (preferred in a high-volume or fast-paced environment)
- Strong understanding of medical billing processes, insurance guidelines, and claim submission workflows
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding systems and payer policies
- Experience with electronic billing systems, clearinghouses, and insurance portals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
