Join Camp's Fresh Market as a part-time Stocker working primarily on Mondays and Thursdays in St. Germain. This role is vital in ensuring our shelves are stocked and our customers find what they need efficiently, supporting our mission to serve the community with quality products and friendly service.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming inventory from delivery vehicles
- Sort products into segments for cart delivery within the store
- Stock, rotate and face shelves from delivery carts.
- Maintain tidy and orderly workspace to provide safe surroundings for customers.
- Serve customers throughout the store while modeling a service-oriented culture and providing "best in class" customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, and thanking every guest for their business.
- Promote positive culture and ensure effective communication
- Report to work at the assigned/scheduled time and may be required to fill in as needed in other customer facing roles
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Must be patient and helpful to exceed the customer's expectations.
- Must possess basic computer skills to operate scanners, registers, calculators, etc.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions in regard to paperwork and daily reporting.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Must be able to lift, twist, bend, stoop, squat, stand, reach, pull, push and lift overhead.
- Must be able to operate, pull, and push a fully loaded, unpowered pallet jack.
- Fast-paced environment requires standing and moving up to 8 hours per day.
- Willing to train in other store departments to assist when needed.
Working Conditions:
- Schedule is contingent upon truck delivery schedule. Start times are usually Mondays at 7:30 and Thursdays at 10:30. Shifts continue until all products are shelved, typically in 6-8 hours.
- Smoke-free environment.
- This position is primarily indoors but at times may be exposed to heat/cool outdoor temperatures as well as when entering coolers.
