What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transportation Driver position at Medex Transportation Inc?
Medex Transportation is a growing medical transportation company, and we're hiring dependable, caring wheelchair van drivers. Our team safely takes patients to and from hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, long-term care facilities, and private homes.
**What you'll do**
- Transport patients safely and on time to and from medical appointments and facilities
- Help patients get in and out of the vehicle with care, including wheelchair securement
- Pay close attention to each patient's special needs
- Represent Medex with a friendly, professional attitude toward patients and facility staff
**What we're looking for**
- At least 23 years old
- A valid driver's license in good standing, with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and no suspensions in the past 5 years
- Able to pass a drug screening
- Reliable, patient, and compassionate
- Experience in medical transportation is a plus, but not required
**Schedule**
- 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM shifts
- 3 / 4 weekdays (Monday through Friday) plus every Saturday
- Overtime hours available
