MedEvac Ambulance, a structured professional EMS service is seeking professional Paramedics to join our Lawrence County, Pa Operational Facilities.
MedEvac Ambulance operates a fleet of late model ambulances with state-of-the-art medical equipment including power lift / power load systems, offers a competitive and aggressive wage and benefit package, up to 236 hours of paid time off, employee uniform allowance, and several flexible 12 hour shift scheduling options to fit most individual needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in various settings, utilizing EMT experience and critical care skills.
- Perform patient assessments, administer injections, and conduct physical examinations as needed.
- Transport patients safely to designated medical facilities, considering critical care needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members in Level I and II Trauma Centers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in airway management, basic life support, and advanced patient care techniques.
- Uphold high standards of patient care while adhering to all relevant protocols and certifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid drivers license
- 21 Years of age or older with acceptable driving record.
- Current Pennsylvania Department Of Health Paramedic certification.
- Current CPR certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- ITLS certification (can be expired)
- Completion of ALS Skills review with-in the last 12 months.
- Pennsylvania EMSVO endorsement.
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening
- Ability to obtain PA Child Abuse Clearance (required with-in 30 days of hire date)
- Ability to obtain PA State Police Background Clearance (required with-in 30 days of hire date)
- Ability to obtain Federal FBI Clearance (required with-in 30 days from hire date)
