Leadership Responsibilities
As Regional Medical Director, you will provide strategic oversight of clinical operations while ensuring consistent, high-quality, patient-centered care across your assigned region.
Responsibilities include:

Provide executive oversight for multiple outpatient primary care centers

Partner with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives and operational planning

Standardize clinical workflows, policies, and best practices across all locations

Value-Based Care Leadership

Supervise Local Medical Directors

Provide professional oversight for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants

Mentor physicians and advanced practice providers

Address provider performance concerns, physician behavior, impairment issues, and patient complaints

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Unrestricted physician medical license
-
Minimum of 5 years of clinical leadership experience, with strong preference for Regional Medical Director, Multi-Site Medical Director, Corporate Medical Director, or similar executive leadership experience

Proven success leading value-based care programs, including Medicare Advantage, Managed Care, ACOs, or other risk-bearing contracts

Experience managing physicians across multiple clinic locations

Experience working with multicultural patient populations

Demonstrated ability to analyze healthcare data, including HEDIS, MIPS, RAF scores, utilization trends, and population health metrics
