Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Volunteer Manager based in Miami, FL. The Volunteer Manager will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supervising volunteers to support hospice care services. Day-to-day tasks include organizing volunteer schedules, facilitating training sessions, managing volunteer activities, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and hospice care standards. Additionally, the role involves fostering positive relationships between volunteers, patients, and staff, and tracking volunteer contributions.
Qualifications
- Experience in Volunteer Management, Coordination, and Recruitment
- Proficiency in Training and Supervising volunteers
- Strong Organizational and Leadership skills
- Effective Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of hospice care practices is an asset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively in a team environment
