Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical team. The RN will provide patient-centered care, monitor and assess conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and ongoing health management.
- Maintain compliance with all safety, infection control, and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Active RN license (Georgia) – required.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient or infusion setting.
- Proficiency in port-a-cath access and IV therapy.
- Experience with EMR systems.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to compassionate patient care.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
- Active RN License in the State of WI (or eligibility to practice)
- BLS and/or CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross (or ability to obtain within 6 weeks of hire)
