Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor for a 13-week travel assignment in Chewelah, WA. The position provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for the Emergency Department and Acute Care unit. The RN must have strong Charge Nurse and ER experience and be able to work as a second nurse in the ER when needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision across ED and Acute Care.
- Manage staffing, patient flow, admissions, transfers, and bed placement.
- Support emergency care and rapid response situations.
- Work as a second RN in the ER when required.
- Coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Promote safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Strong ER and Charge Nurse experience
- Previous supervisory/House Supervisor experience
- Travel nursing experience
- Epic charting experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and crisis-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ER environment
