Job Title: Travel Occupational Therapist
Location: Hilo, HI
Shift : 8 Hours Day shift
Pay rate: $60/hr - $66/hr
Start Date: 10/05/2026
Job Type: Contract (8 weeks of contract with the possible extension)

Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide quality therapy services to patients and help them improve their ability to perform daily activities and achieve greater independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve mobility, coordination, strength, and daily living skills.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional independence.
- Monitor and document patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
- Follow all safety, infection-control, and patient-care policies.
Requirements:
- Current and valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
