Position: Ultrasound Technologist-OB/MFM
Location: Falls Church, VA 22042
Job type: 13 weeksContract
Shift: Day Shift | 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM – 04:00 PM)
Expected Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Local Rate Rate: $65-68/hrs.
Note: Local and Traveler both are accepted for this job.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist with strong experience in vascular, general ultrasound, OB/GYN. This role requires versatility and the ability to perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures across diverse patient populations in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the examination and obtaining relevant medical history.
- Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently while adjusting technical settings for image quality.
- Perform examinations of abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, breast, thyroid, musculoskeletal, and small parts as applicable.
- Recognize normal and abnormal anatomy and identify significant pathological findings.
- Capture and document high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
- Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided procedures, including biopsies, aspirations, drain placements, and injections when required.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of Ultrasound Tech-OB/MFM experience
- ARDMS certification (required)
- BLS(AHA) certification
