Pay Rate: $2,667 weekly ($35/hr on W2 $1,267 weekly stipend)

Job Summary
The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. The technologist ensures patient safety, produces high-quality diagnostic images, and provides compassionate patient care while following established imaging protocols.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants, medical devices, and metallic objects.
- Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for MRI scans.
- Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate and maintain MRI scanners and related imaging equipment.
- Administer contrast agents when authorized and in accordance with facility protocols.
- Monitor patients during examinations and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Review images for quality and ensure all required sequences are completed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Follow radiation-free MRI safety practices, infection control procedures, and HIPAA privacy requirements.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report technical issues promptly.
Special Requirements:
- Years of experience: 1 year
- MRI tech certification
