Location: Apple Valley, CA 92307
Shift: Night 5x8-Hour (19:00 - 03:30)Night 5x8-Hour (21:30 - 06:00)
Duration: 13 week
Weekly for 40 hours: $1,530 weekly ($17 per hour on w2 $8,50 weekly stipend)

Job Summary
We are looking for a Sterile Processing Technician who will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing medical instruments, equipment, and supplies. Responsibilities include collecting used instruments, delivering sterile supplies, maintaining inventory, and preparing instrument trays for surgeries, exams, and other medical procedures.
Responsibilities Duties:
- Collect used medical equipment, instruments, and supplies for cleaning and sterilization.
- Clean instruments and supplies by removing dirt, waste, and contaminants using proper cleaning equipment.
- Prepare and package cleaned items for sterilization.
- Operate and monitor sterilization machines to ensure proper functioning.
- Inspect instruments and supplies to make sure they are clean and sterile.
- Report any problems or malfunctions with sterilization equipment.
- Sterilize, wrap, organize, and assemble instrument trays for medical procedures.
- Prepare and deliver instruments and equipment needed for surgeries, exams, and other procedures.
- Maintain records of sterilization processes, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies when needed, and check expiration dates regularly.
Experience:
- Years of Experience:5 year(s)
- Note: Must have 5 years' experience in addition to 3 years Team Lead experience in a hospital setting.
- **VARIABLE AVAILABILITY REQUIRED, BUT THIS POSITION WILL MOSTLY COVER 1900-0330 AND 2130-0600 SHIFTS**
- CBSPD, CBSPD or HSPA, IAHCSMM/HSPA
