Shift: 10:00 AM-6:00 PM or 12:00 AM-8:30 AM or 4:00 PM-12:00 AM are available

Schedule: 5 Days/Week

Expected Hours: 7.5 Hours per Day | 37.5 Hours per Week

Weekends/Holidays: As required per department schedule

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer to join the Diagnostic Radiology Department at a major hospital in Queens, NY. This role is ideal for an ARRT-certified technologist with strong general radiography experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care environment.

The Radiologic Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiographic procedures (X-ray)
• Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment in accordance with departmental standards
• Verify physician orders and patient identification prior to procedures
• Maintain high-quality imaging standards for accurate diagnostic interpretation
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines
• Document procedures accurately within hospital systems
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of General Radiographer experience
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program (Military training accepted)
• Current ARRT (R) Certification
• Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (NYSDOH)
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
