Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Weekend Days)
Travel Pay Rate:
$2506 weekly ($35/hr w2 $1246/week stipend)
Local Pay Rate:
$60/hr on w2

Job Summary
The CT Technologist performs CT and X-ray imaging procedures for patients across all age groups in inpatient, outpatient, emergency, trauma, and ICU settings. The role requires operating GE CT equipment, administering contrast, ensuring radiation safety, and delivering high-quality diagnostic images while providing excellent patient care. This position requires independent judgment, strong technical skills, and proficiency with MediTech documentation and PACS.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray examinations using GE imaging equipment.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following radiation safety standards.
- Prepare and administer contrast media as appropriate.
- Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture/phlebotomy as needed.
- Position patients and explain imaging procedures to reduce anxiety.
- Review physician orders and select appropriate imaging protocols.
- Document procedures accurately in MediTech and manage images in PACS.
- Perform imaging for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Assist with emergency, trauma, inpatient, outpatient, and ICU imaging.
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
- ARRT (Radiography) certification.
- BLS certification.
- IEMA license/certification required.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
- Experience with GE CT scanners.
- Experience with MediTech (required).
- Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, IV starts, and phlebotomy.
- Experience in inpatient, outpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, community hospital, and adult ICU settings.
