Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Trauma Registrar to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves the accurate collection, management, and analysis of trauma patient data to support quality improvement initiatives, research, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, review, and validate trauma patient data from electronic medical records (EMR) systems and paper records to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Utilize ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to classify injuries and diagnoses accurately within trauma databases.
- Manage and maintain comprehensive trauma registries, ensuring data integrity through meticulous entry and regular updates.
- Analyze trauma data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Two years experience Level 1 Trauma Center, EPIC EMR, NTRACs Trauma Registry, Remote position experience
- Education:Certified Trauma Registrar; Bachelors Degree Required
