Construction General Laborer & Concrete Worker

Tribal One Construction is looking to hire a full-time General Laborer and Concrete Worker to join our team. Are you looking to advance your career? This General Laborer and Concrete Worker position is with a small company managed by a cohesive team of professionals that is looking to increase our capability. This position earns a competitive hourly wage of $22.00-$30.00, depending on experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION GENERAL LABORER AND CONCRETE WORKER

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Maintain absolute integrity and honesty with management, subordinates, clients, subcontractors and all team members.
• Motivated to understand and enhance client's mission.
• General Labor duties may include:
  • Demolition;
  • Erosion control BMP installation;
  • Operate equipment as needed for the project; and
  • General site clean-up and housekeeping duties.
• Concrete Worker duties may include:
  • Demo worksites and prepare for new concrete pour or placement;
  • Set/strip concrete forms;
  • Pour or place concrete;
  • Install rebar, expansion joints or carbon fiber;
  • Repair concrete structures; and
  • Install joint sealant.
• Follow all safety protocols at all times on jobsite.
• Clean up the worksite when the project is completed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• High school diploma and/or GED certificate.
• One (1) year of concrete or skilled labor experience preferred.
• Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must currently process and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Must pass and remain in compliance with drug free workplace policies (including all Federal laws).
• Must be able to pass and remain compliant with company, Denver Department of Aviation, and Federal background checks.
• Must be able to function as a responsible team member.
• Must exhibit excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to climb ladders and access roof tops.

Physical Requirements (as required by OSHA and ADA):

• Exposure to weather conditions such as heat, cold, rain and dust on a regular basis.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evening hours as business demands.
• Pushing, pulling and lifting objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally, from position to position.
• Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling while walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery or erratically moving surfaces.
• Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
