JOB SUMMARY
The marketing analyst position performs data analysis, client reporting and product management duties for both MedBen's self-funded and fully insured business. This position works closely with Regional Sales Managers, Marketing Team, Proposal Unit, Account Management as well as with our brokers and outside vendors.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
· Completes client review packets for sales and account management using our health plan analytics tool, Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) data, and in-house claims data
· Completes data analysis and provides information to requestors using iSeries Query tools or Excel tools
· Monitors due dates and manages follow-ups for Reporting functions, including ad-hoc report requests
· Sends joinder agreement to brokers and clients through DocuSign and uses User Management to create accounts in Executive Analytics
· Provides health plan analytics training to brokers and clients as needed
· Completes Reference-Based Pricing Savings Analyses for clients as requested
· Coordinates Rx claims files to PBM for repricing analysis on current and prospective clients
· Completes a Summary Analysis to send to sales, broker, or the client
· Coordinates Rx claims files to PBM vendors for savings analysis and proposal
· Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of equivalent, relevant experience in Marketing preferred
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills
· Intermediate-level computer experience including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams programs required
· Professional and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
· Demonstrated problem-solving and satisfactory resolution skills
· Highly organized and detail-oriented
SCHEDULE
Individual team member schedules vary to cover department hours of 8 am – 5 pm Monday – Friday.
