Job Description: The Microsoft Power Platform Architect serves as the technical leader and subject matter expert for the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem across the health system. This role is responsible for the architecture, design, governance, scalability, security, testing strategy, and enterprise adoption of Power Platform solutions, ensuring that applications, automations, integrations, and reporting solutions align with organizational standards and long-term technology strategy.
The Architect provides technical leadership for complex enterprise solutions leveraging Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Dataverse, Azure services, and related Microsoft technologies. This individual partners closely with business leaders, application teams, data teams, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, and development teams to design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
This role requires deep hands-on technical expertise and extensive experience designing enterprise-grade Power Platform architectures in complex, highly regulated environments such as healthcare.
Skill Set Requirements
- 8 years of experience designing and implementing Microsoft Power Platform solution
- 5 years of experience serving in a lead developer, solution architect, or platform architect capacity
- Expert-level experience with Microsoft Power Platform architecture and administration
- Deep expertise in:
- Power Apps Canvas Applications
- Power Apps Model-Driven Applications
- Power Automate Cloud Flows
- Microsoft Dataverse
- Power BI Architecture
- Power Platform ALM
- Power Platform Governance
- Experience designing enterprise-scale application architectures.
- Strong expertise with API integrations, REST services, Azure integration services, and enterprise system connectivity.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience establishing automated testing and quality assurance frameworks
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and application lifecycle management
Nice to Haves
- Experience within healthcare systems, hospitals, payer organizations, or highly regulated industries.
- Knowledge of Epic, Cerner, healthcare interoperability standards, HL7, and FHIR.
