Quality Inspector

The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspection of product to ensure conformance to requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Comply with Medartis’ Quality System procedures, work instructions and business policies.
• Inspect product according to defined and approved requirements.
• Complete documentation according to established policies and procedures.
• Identifies and segregates non-conforming product, and promptly identifies problems or discrepancies to supervision.
• Utilize measurement equipment such as CMM, Keyence, Micro Vu, comparators, micrometers, calipers, and functional gauges for completion of inspections.
• Complete vigorous cosmetic inspection using microscopes
• Maintain effective working relations, communications and feedback with all other departments.
• Perform other duties as required.
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to understand complex written, oral and pictorial instructions to perform usual responsibilities in a timely manner
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to work independently with a sense of urgency
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to read micrometers, calipers, Micro Vu, comparators, etc.
• Good interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in medical device is beneficial
• Ability to work with little direct supervision
