Laboratory Accessioner and sample receiving Evening shift (Full Time)

MedTech Clinical laboratory is looking for a team-oriented, can do attitude and responsible individual for a Laboratory accessioner/specimen processing and data entry personnel. The schedule for this position will be Mon-Friday 2nd shift from 4 or 5 PM onwards and will include dayshift on Saturdays.

Responsibilities are:

• Unpacking specimen deliveries
• Correctly identifyingh all necessary information on a test requisition form
• Matching information on the test requisition and collection vial for accuracy
• Identifying the correct documentation and procedures for missing or discrepant information
• Demonstrate proper use of proprietary Laboratory Information System
• Properly collate all paperwork received with specimen including requisition, checks, credit card forms, insurance card copies and prescriptions
• Properly accession multiple types of specimen including blood, urine, swabs,
• Properly print labels and number the requisitions with the corresponding specimens
• File all paperwork in order and distribute to the appropriate QC bins
