Credentialing Manager

Are you an experienced credentialing professional who enjoys creating organization, improving processes, and helping a growing healthcare organization operate efficiently? We are seeking an experienced and confident Credentialing Specialist to oversee provider credentialing and recredentialing efforts for a rapidly expanding healthcare organization with continued growth on the horizon.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage provider credentialing, recredentialing, and enrollment activities
• Maintain provider records and monitor expirations for licenses, certifications, and other required documentation
• Coordinate with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, providers, and healthcare facilities
• Ensure compliance with credentialing and regulatory requirements
• Develop and improve credentialing workflows, policies, and procedures

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, 35-36 hours per week
• Monday-Thursday: 9:00AM-5:00PM
• Friday: 9:00AM-1:00PM
• Full benefits package available
• $35-$40/hour, with additional consideration for candidates with leadership experience
• On-site in Brooklyn, initially, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement as the employee becomes established in the role

Minimum Qualifications

• Previous healthcare credentialing experience
• Strong understanding of provider enrollment, credentialing, and recredentialing processes
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience credentialing large provider groups or multi-specialty practices
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
