LOCUM NURSE PRACTITIONER - PEDIATRIC CRITICAL CARE (PICU)
Flagstaff Medical Center - Flagstaff, AZ
SCHEDULE
24-hour in-house shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM, November 2 or November 3, 2026. Scheduled coverage, no call. Start date November 2, 2026; 13-week assignment. 1 position.
SETTING
PICU and pediatrics, ages 0-18, 7-15 patients per day. Adult Level I trauma center with a busy pediatric trauma service, including neurosurgery patients. Cerner EMR. No ECMO, CRRT, or transplant.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Intubations, central lines, arterial lines, and lumbar punctures.
REQUIREMENTS
Active AZ license (if not active at offer, start the licensing process immediately - start dates are not pushed). Active AZ DEA required for the full privileging period. Flu vaccine required in season (declination allowed). COVID vaccine required (declination allowed). TB test within 12 months, MMR, varicella, and Hep B per facility requirements. Cerner training (4-hour online Learning Journey) must be completed before the first day.
TRAVEL
Economy flights, lodging up to $200/night, standard/economy rental car up to $100/day, per facility policy.
