Position: Quality Inspector
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect weldments and manufactured components to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform in-process and final inspections throughout the production floor.
• Record and maintain accurate quality data and inspection results.
• Identify, communicate, and help address quality issues in real-time with production teams.
• Monitor and report quality trends; escalate concerns as needed.
• Conduct internal audits of processes, materials, and finished goods.
• Support and maintain quality systems, procedures, and documentation.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to improve product quality and consistency.
• Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement on the production floor.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (medical device experience preferred).
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and weld callouts.
• Proficient in using various measurement tools (calipers, tape measures, gauges, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
• Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead as needed.
