Through our partnerships and mobile platform, Mechi connects people through hobbies and physical activities such as cycling, hiking, soccer, or dance. By doing so, we help communities improve their health while combating loneliness and burnout.

Mechi is seeking Community Coordinators / Organizers to help lead and facilitate community-based movement activities.
This is a PRN (as-needed), onsite role, with locations varying depending on client sites. The role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being active, connecting with people, and creating safe, welcoming environments for group activities.
Community Coordinators help bring the Mechi platform to life by turning digital connections into real-world movement and community engagement.
- Organize and lead group activities such as walks, bike rides, dance classes, yoga sessions, running groups, or other active hobby-based events
- Welcome participants and foster an inclusive, supportive environment
- Encourage engagement through the Mechi platform
- Ensure participant safety during all activities
- Provide basic first response when necessary within your Basic Life Support (BLS) training
- Support the growth and development of the local Mechi community
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
- At least one active hobby you consider yourself avid in (examples include cycling, hiking, soccer, running, dance, climbing, etc.)
- Comfortable leading small groups in community settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for health, wellness, and community engagement
