What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician - Trucks position at Mechanics Hub?
We are actively seeking a Diesel Truck Technician to join a dynamic team near Hicksville, NY. In this role, you will be instrumental in conducting inspections, PM services, and repairs on Heavy-Duty Trucks. Qualifications:
- 1 years experience with hands-on Heavy-Duty Truck diagnostic, repair, and maintenance experience.
- Valid Driver&rsquos license & a good driving record (CDL will be given preference).
- Certification in brake repairs and annual inspections is preferred.
- Knowledge of Refrigeration systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in using mechanical tools and devices.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read/understand manuals, catalogs, and diagrams.
- Strong commitment to customer service and communication, both internal and external.
- Teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Pride in workmanship, reliability, honesty, a willingness to learn, and a team-oriented attitude.
Compensation:
- $32.00 - $37.00/hour, dependent on previous experience.

Shift:
- Afternoon, Shift Monday &ndash Friday 3:30PM - 12:00AM.
- Night Shift, Tuesday &ndash Saturday 11:00PM - 7:30AM.
