Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, brake, suspension, drivetrain, HVAC, and engine systems to manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, filters, belts, brake jobs, etc.
- Use and interpret computerized diagnostic tools and service manuals to pinpoint faults and confirm repairs
- Road test vehicles to verify repair quality and performance
- Document all work, parts used, labor time, and service notes accurately
- Coordinate with parts and service advisors to order necessary components
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment comply with all safety and environmental regulations
- Stay current with technical bulletins, manufacturer updates, and service procedures
- For more experienced techs Mentor junior staff or apprentices, and assist in complex diagnostics and training
Requirements:
- Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrated experience with general auto repair or technician training
- Comfort working with shop tools, diagnostic equipment, lifts, and power tools
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic data
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift up to ~50 lb, stand for extended periods, bend, and work under vehicles
- Willingness to pass a criminal background check and driver record review
- Preferred:
- ASE certifications or willingness to obtain
- Previous dealership or OEM-level experience
- Certifications in state inspections or emissions testing
- Experience with EV/hybrid systems or advanced driver-assist systems
- Prior leadership, mentoring, or training experience
- Familiarity with warranty processes and claims
$22.00 – $50.00 per hour to start, based on experience, certifications, and training

Day shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday.
Overtime available during peak seasons.
Optional Saturday availability if you work Saturday, you may select a weekday off of your choosing.
