Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and execute key sales activities across the Michigan region, actively engaging with customers and managing the full sales cycle to achieve regional business objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key clients in the automotve and metal processing industries, partcularly Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satsfacton, retenton, and growth by identfying new business opportunites and nurturing long-term relatonships.
- Collaborate closely with internal engineeringsupport to deliver efcient, customer-specifc automaton and machine vision solutons.
- Contnuously monitor market trends, industry developments, and compettor actvites to uncover new opportunites and proactvely address potental risks.
- Support regional marketng initatves by partcipatng in trade shows, industry events, and customer-facing actvites to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above; a technical background is highly preferred.
- 5 years of experience within industrial automation, machine vision, robotics, or related industrial technologies, with a strong focus on new business development.
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close new customers independently, including OEMs, system integrators, and Tier 1 / Tier 2 automotive suppliers.
- Strong understanding of automation and machine vision solutions, with the ability to engage in technical discussions and clearly articulate customer value.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with confidence in cold outreach and on-site customer engagement.
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
