Industrial Electrician Journeyman

JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

We are looking to fill an Electrician opening in Texas as an Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and ensuring the safety and functionality of electrical systems. You’ll work with a team, providing guidance to apprentices, troubleshooting electrical systems, and adhering to safety and local code requirements. If you enjoy working hands-on, have excellent problem-solving skills, and have experience in the electrical field, this position provides an opportunity to grow and make a significant impact.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Maintain current electrician’s license or identification card to meet governmental regulations
• 4 years of electrical experience
• Possess the required personal tools
• Knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes
• Skilled at oral and written communication, planning, and training
• Skilled problem solving and troubleshooting
• The physical requirements for this role include:
• • Manual dexterity for use of hand and power tools
  • Good vision (either normal or corrected) and good balance
  • Repeated bending, stooping, reaching, working overhead
  • Walking, climbing, standing, crouching, crawling, for periods of time
  • Repeatedly lifting up to 50 pounds overhead
  • Work from heights of up to 50 ft, including on ladders, lifts, elevated platforms, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, or other safe work areas
  • Work as needed in tight spaces, including in manholes, utility tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
