The future is looking bright in Wyoming! RenewableWorks is now accepting applications for Licensed Journeymen Electrician in our exciting new solar project in the Cheyenne area. Whether you're a seasoned solar professional or aspiring first-timer, we'd love for you to join our crew!
As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for installing, wiring, and maintaining commercial and utility-scale solar systems and other structures in compliance with site assessments and schematics. You'll be instrumental in the operations of sustainable energy units on commercial solar farm sites.
Heads up: This is a physically demanding role that will require you to work in all kinds of weather. A strong work ethic will serve you well, along with prior solar or construction experience (this is a plus, not a must!).

Responsibilities
- Responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining communication systems that support the operation and monitoring of a utility-scale solar facility. This includes fiber optic cabling, data networks, SCADA systems, and other low-voltage infrastructure critical to site performance and remote management
- Assist in routing and installing conduit, cable trays, and wires for both DC arrays and AC grid integration
- Organizing and maintaining system components
- Maintaining documentation of completed installations
- Completing labor-intensive work in various weather conditions and with various crews
- Job site cleanup and organization
- Ensuring safety comes first - always!
Job Requirements
- Current Journeyman Electrician License
- References to verify your professional skills and experience - A resume
- Solar and/or construction site experience is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds and remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
- Have tools of the trade and be able to bring them to job with you
- While tools will be provided onsite, please come ready with steel or composite toed boots and hot/cold weather gear
- Attention to performance details

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $58.83-$58.83 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive skills and experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor were prohibited by local law.
