Meaningful Outcomes is a BCBA-owned and operated ABA provider in Rhode Island seeking a passionate, creative, and organized Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help develop, lead, and expand our center-based Social Skills Group Program.
This specialized position combines direct social skills instruction, curriculum development, clinical leadership, and supervision of a reduced caseload of center-based clients.
Unlike a traditional BCBA role focused primarily on caseload management, this position provides the opportunity to work directly with children in structured group settings while helping develop and strengthen our center-wide social skills programming.
Why This Role Is Different
A Reduced Clinical Caseload: Spend less time managing a traditional full caseload and more time working directly with children, developing engaging activities, and supporting meaningful social development.
Be the Creative Force Behind Our Social Skills Program: Design and lead structured groups that teach communication, friendship skills, cooperative play, flexibility, problem-solving, and emotional regulation.
Dedicated Time for Program Development: Receive scheduled time for curriculum planning, preparing activities, developing materials, and training staff.
Hands-On Clinical Work: Lead two 45-minute social skills groups each day, supported by behavior technicians who assist with individualized instruction and data collection.
Leadership Without the Administrative Burden: Help shape our social skills curriculum across both center sessions without responsibility for routine staffing or daily coverage of groups led by other designated staff.
Consistent Work-Life Schedule: Enjoy a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, with daytime hours and no regularly scheduled evening or weekend groups.
What You'll Do
- Directly lead 10 structured social skills groups per week.
- Develop engaging, evidence-based social skills activities and lesson plans.
- Create curriculum and instructional materials for both morning and afternoon center sessions.
- Coach and train behavior technicians supporting group instruction.
- Collaborate with other BCBAs to individualize social skills programming.
- Maintain a reduced caseload and provide high-quality clinical supervision.
- Monitor progress and adjust programming based on client needs.
Benefits
- Health insurance with 80% employer contribution
- 401(k) with employer match
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Dental, vision, and life insurance
- Collaborative BCBA-led clinical environment
- Professional growth and program leadership opportunities
Who We're Looking For
A BCBA who enjoys working directly with children, values creativity and collaboration, and wants to make a meaningful contribution to social skills programming.
Experience with group instruction is preferred, but we also welcome experienced BCBAs who are excited to grow into this specialized role.
