Meaningful Beginnings first opened its doors in 2013 and continues to grow across San Francisco. We take pride in providing high-quality care and education for children ages 0–6 years, specializing in infant/toddler care, preschool, and transitional kindergarten.

Preferred Qualifications
- 24 ECE units, including an Infant/Toddler course, plus 16 General Education units
- AA or BA degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
- California Child Development Teacher Permit (preferred)
- Experience working with children ages 0–5 years
- A strong passion for teaching and supporting children’s development
- Creative approach to curriculum and classroom experiences
- A positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively with a team
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing, attentive care to infants and toddlers, supporting their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, sensory development, and learning through play.
- Follow individual routines for feeding, diapering, and naps while documenting and communicating with parents.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment, including sanitizing toys, equipment, and classroom areas.
- Observe, document, and report developmental milestones, behaviors, and any concerns to management and parents.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and co-teachers.
- Collaborate in a team-teaching environment and support assistant staff as needed.
- Attend staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all licensing, safety, and center policies and procedures.
