Job Overview
We are seeking HANDS ON Front of House Managers for Mean Mugs Pub in Mentor, Ohio. We are a privately owned, family friendly, American Sports Bar. As an established, high volume restaurant we are seeking energetic leaders with customer and food service experience.
Requirements
- At least 21 years of age
- Restaurant service experience, minimum 2 years
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Proficient in food handeling practices and safety regulations. SERVE SAFE certificate prefered/ TIPS Certified
- Energetic and proactive
- HANDS ON management style
- Open availability as we are open 7 days a week and most holidays.
Duties
- Manage day to day operations. Ensuring a smooth open, close and shift change.
- ACTIVELY working side-by-side with our team to ensure service standards. This includes 'backing up' servers, bar, host and expo regularly.
- Training and development FOH staff with details of Menu, POS system, steps of service, side work etc.
- Scheduling in our App for FOH.
- Staying current on sporting events and programing televisions.
- Delegating cleaning projects as we uphold the highest standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile daily sales reports
- Maintain inventory, controlling waste, checking deliveries
- Quality control and 'table touches

Compensation based on experience/skill level
$28.00 - $35.00 PER HOUR
40-45 hours per week
