Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining smooth restaurant operations to provide an outstanding dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including training and development to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards
  • Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Monitor inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste
  • Oversee shift management, ensuring timely service during peak hours in quick service and fine dining settings
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all food handling and service areas
  • Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members
  • Collaborate with kitchen management on food production, catering, banquet events, and bar operations as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area to meet company standards

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience in a full service restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with casual dining or fine dining background
  • Strong knowledge of food industry operations including food preparation, food safety, and kitchen management
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
  • Background in food handling, food production, catering, or bar services is highly desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Previous experience with restaurant management software and inventory control systems preferred
  • Hospitality or culinary training is a plus; experience in hotel or banquet settings is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff

Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
