We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house staff, including training and development to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Toast POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Monitor inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste
- Oversee shift management, ensuring timely service during peak hours in quick service and fine dining settings
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all food handling and service areas
- Assist in hiring, interviewing, and onboarding new team members
- Collaborate with kitchen management on food production, catering, banquet events, and bar operations as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area to meet company standards
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in a full service restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably with casual dining or fine dining background
- Strong knowledge of food industry operations including food preparation, food safety, and kitchen management
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
- Background in food handling, food production, catering, or bar services is highly desirable
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience with restaurant management software and inventory control systems preferred
- Hospitality or culinary training is a plus; experience in hotel or banquet settings is advantageous
- Strong communication skills coupled with the ability to lead by example and motivate staff
