Meadville Convalescent Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will work closely with nursing staff to provide high-quality care to patients in the long-term care facility. This role requires strong communication skills, a commitment to aseptic technique, and a basic understanding of medical terminology.
**Responsibilities:** -
- Assist with vital sign monitoring, including taking blood pressure, pulse, and temperature readings.
- Support patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Provide emotional support and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients. Document patient care and vital sign readings in medical records.
- Assist with patient transfers and ambulation as needed.
- Demonstrate a commitment to aseptic technique and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Perform tasks and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner.
**Qualifications:**
- -Current certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- - Prior experience working in a medical setting, preferably in assisted living or senior care.
